Law enforcement conducted an undercover purchase of content on the OnlyFans platform to prove the model's guilt in creating and distributing pornographic materials.
According to the case materials, the young woman registered on the OnlyFans platform, where she published explicit content—pornographic photos and videos featuring herself for a fee. The court's decision stated that the defendant acted "in violation of the requirements of Articles 1 and 2 of the Law of Ukraine 'On the Protection of Public Morality,'" which establishes the legal foundations for protecting society from the dissemination of pornographic materials. To prove the model's guilt, law enforcement made an undercover purchase, acquiring 8 photos and 11 videos featuring the woman. For this content, 5110 hryvnias were transferred to the model's account.
The court found the woman guilty and imposed a fine equivalent to 2100 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, totaling 35,700 hryvnias. Additionally, she will be required to reimburse the state for procedural costs related to expert examinations amounting to 9844.64 hryvnias.
People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak commented on the situation in his Telegram channel:
“I understand the police investigated the case. Okay, I see some of the workers there have plenty of time and extra money for 'control purchases'. We are currently reviewing the 2024 Budget—it's clear who needs to have their funding reduced.”
It is noteworthy that despite legal restrictions, the OnlyFans platform generates significant revenue. According to Zheleznyak, last year alone, Ukraine officially received $1.3 million in taxes from OnlyFans.
