Honor has unveiled its latest tablet, the MagicPad2, designed for users seeking media consumption and creative tasks.
The new device features a large 12.3-inch OLED display known as the Eye Comfort Display, with a resolution of 3000x1920 pixels, brightness of up to 1600 nits, and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It also supports stylus use.
The tablet's multimedia capabilities are highlighted by its IMAX-Enhanced certification, TÜV approval, and DTS audio integration. It is equipped with 8 speakers and 3 microphones. Additional features include high-frequency PWM dimming at 4320 Hz and dynamic brightness adjustment, which should enhance the movie-watching experience.
The Honor MagicPad2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, allowing it to run demanding applications and games with high graphics settings. It offers 256 GB of internal storage for content. On the back, there's a 13-megapixel autofocus camera, while the front features a 9-megapixel fixed-focus camera.
For battery life, it has a 10050 mAh battery with claimed support for 66W fast charging. The new tablet measures 274.5x180.5x5.8 mm and weighs 555 g. It runs on MagicOS 8.0.1 based on Android 14.
The Honor MagicPad2 is priced at €599 and will be available in Moonlight White and Black colors.
