GTA 6 will not be postponed: Take-Two has confirmed the game's release in the fall of 2025

It seems we can now confidently plan for a fall 2025 vacation to dive into the new GTA.

Take-Two Interactive, the publisher behind the Grand Theft Auto series, shared this information in its annual report, where it clearly stated:

“Rockstar Games continues to invest in the franchise and aims to release Grand Theft Auto 6 in the fall of 2025.”

The company also mentioned that Rockstar Games will gradually unveil more details about the game.

This official confirmation dismisses recent rumors suggesting that the release of GTA 6 might be pushed back to 2026. Last week, six employees from Rockstar Games also denied the information regarding any delays in the release.

Take-Two Interactive emphasizes the critical role of the Grand Theft Auto series for the company's future success. The report explicitly states:

“Our success is tied to the future of our Grand Theft Auto products.”

Financial figures highlight the importance of the franchise. According to the report, Grand Theft Auto products accounted for 14.7% of the company's net revenue for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of GTA 6. Some players are already looking for hints about the release date of the next trailer in Rockstar's announcements.
