Audi has unveiled its most powerful production car to date — the electric RS e-tron GT Performance.
The first fully electric model in the RS lineup features a pair of robust electric motors, one on each axle. The rear motor, a newly developed unit, boasts an impressive output of 415 kW (556 hp), while the front motor delivers 252 kW (338 hp). Together, they produce 680 kW (925 hp or 912 hp in Launch Control mode), officially propelling the RS e-tron GT from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. Initial tests have already shown that the electric vehicle easily surpasses this official figure, demonstrating a performance of 2.4 seconds, a result recorded after just a few runs.
The rear motor has been redesigned to be lighter and more compact, resulting in a weight saving of 10 kg compared to previous versions.
The Audi RS e-tron GT Performance is powered by a 105 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 533 km. The vehicle supports charging at rates of up to 320 kW with DC fast charging, enabling the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes.
The newcomer also boasts the most advanced thermal management system, ensuring optimal performance even under challenging conditions. This system intelligently regulates the temperature of the battery, motors, and cabin, maintaining high driving efficiency without overheating.
Engineers paid close attention to the enhanced suspension system. The standard air suspension, featuring a 2-chamber/2-valve technology, provides an optimal balance of comfort and sportiness, while the optional active suspension system offers improved handling with selective wheel management.
Inside, the RS e-tron GT Performance features 18-way adjustable seats, adorned with matte carbon accents and Serpentine Green stitching.
The price of the Audi RS e-tron GT Performance starts at €160,500, and with additional options, this dynamic electric vehicle can reach a price of €220,000.
