The tech accessory brand ESR has launched a campaign on Kickstarter aiming to release the Geo Wallet with Find My support.
The new ESR Geo Wallet is touted as "the world's first wallet with a built-in Find My feature." However, this is misleading, as several similar models are already available on the market. Nonetheless, the new Geo Wallet does offer a more traditional pocket-sized form factor, which will be convenient for many users.
The wallet features an Apple-certified Find My module, "which allows you to track its location in real-time via the Find My app, regardless of whether it's connected to your phone or not. Moreover, the wallet's integrated speaker works with Find My to emit a sound when the wallet is nearby but out of sight." Additionally, the wallet components include RFID blocking technology, which "protects your cards from unauthorized scanning." Charging the battery via a magnetic connector takes 2 hours.
The ESR Geo Wallet measures 15 mm in thickness, 115 mm in length, and 90 mm in width, providing ample space for cards and cash. It can comfortably hold up to 10 bills, 9 cards, and 15 coins. These dimensions also make it easy to slip the wallet into a pocket like any other. Typically, wallets with Find My functionality tend to be bulkier.
The price of the ESR Geo Wallet on Kickstarter starts at $38 for early supporters of the campaign, eventually rising to $55. Deliveries are expected to begin in September of this year.
