The flagship Vivo X200 series, featuring high-end cameras, is set to debut this October. Official images of the smartphones, along with some specifications and tests, have surfaced online.

The lineup is expected to include the standard X200, a powerful X200 Pro, and the compact X200 Pro Mini. Despite the launch being two weeks away, the phones have already appeared on the Chinese site JD.com for pre-order, including official images (currently hidden).

In contrast to the Vivo X100 series, all three models will feature flat edges. Their design will maintain a large circular camera island. The X200 and X200 Pro will come with a shiny rear in four colors: black, white, blue, and silver. The Vivo X200 Pro Mini will showcase more playful colors and a matte finish, with pink and green joining the black and white options.

Renderings indicate that the Vivo X200 series will feature cameras branded by Zeiss. This could imply that the German company will incorporate its expertise for photo processing. According to previous reports, the Vivo X200 will have a 50 MP main camera with a Sony IMX921 sensor and optical image stabilization. A 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens from Samsung JN1 and a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera LYT-600 with 3x optical zoom are also expected. The higher-end model will be equipped with a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens. Vivo has showcased sample photos that highlight the capabilities of the main camera and macro photography.

The Vivo X200 phones appear to have flat side edges, but the company's head insists that the display will be curved. They refer to a micro-curve, suggesting that the curvature is minimal. The frame may be made of titanium. The next photo compares the more rounded Vivo X100 with the X200.

Preliminary information indicates that the Vivo X200 will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will house a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage, and a 5700 mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

Vivo has released test results for the X200 Pro equipped with the Dimensity 9400 chip. The smartphone scored 3,007,853 points in AnTuTu 10, making it the fastest Android device. This result surpasses the previous record set by the OPPO Find X8 Pro, which scored 2,880,558 points.

The Vivo X200 smartphones are slated for unveiling on October 14. Like the previous generation, the smartphones will likely receive a global release afterwards.
