Possibly, you have come across the stunning photo of the "Hollywood Mountain" in California on Facebook or BlueSky, taken from a bird's eye view? It turns out that it is completely generated by artificial intelligence - moreover, such a place does not even exist.

As noted by Gizmodo, the image was initially published on Facebook by a user named Mimi Ehis Ojo - and for those who have never been to the USA, it could seem quite real. At the same time, Ojo's page features many other AI-generated images, which could already raise doubts about the authenticity of the photo.

Writer Cooper Lund wrote on BlueSky that such confusion could be a big disappointment for tourists who will travel to the USA in search of fantastic scenes, which are actually created by artificial intelligence. He recalled something very similar happening in the early 2010s, when Chinese tourists visited Paris. They expected the city to look "like a film set for a romantic love story," but instead saw "cigarette butts, rudeness of the locals, and unwarranted public displays of affection."

Interestingly, psychologists are already talking about the so-called "Paris Syndrome" - a condition in which foreigners suffer from depression, anxiety, feelings of persecution, and even hallucinations when their rosy images do not match reality.

Thanks, your opinion accepted.
