According to rumors, the yet-to-be-released Apple MacBook Pro M4 is already being sold in a private Facebook group. The source provides a photo of the box.

The MacBook Pro featuring the M4 processor and a 14-inch display has not only been spotted online, but it is also reportedly already being sold unofficially. A source on X Twitter claims that the box in the photo is genuine and that the laptop is available in a private Facebook group.

The new MacBook Pro is equipped with a processor that has 10 computing cores and a 10-core integrated graphics chip, along with a Liquid Retina XDR display featuring ProMotion technology. The box indicates the presence of Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-C, HDMI, an SD card slot, and MagSafe 3 charging.

The device weighs approximately 1.6 kg (3.4 pounds). Included in the package are the MacBook Pro, an adapter, a USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable, and standard documentation.

A notable detail is the message "Please recycle this box," similar to what Apple has included on the packaging of its iPhone and iPad 2024 models. This lends credibility to the authenticity of the leak involving at least the M4 MacBook Pro box.

It is also mentioned that the device contains 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB storage drive, which will please those who wanted more memory in the MacBook Pro. Interestingly, Apple appears to be using the same default wallpaper shown on the packaging.

The M4 MacBook Pro is expected to debut in October. The M4 chip has already been utilized in the 2024 iPad Pro, making this MacBook the second device to feature it. Additionally, an updated M4 Mac Mini is also anticipated.
