The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine plans to launch an electronic account for conscripts in the second quarter of 2024. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Defense Ekaterina Chernogorenko.
It is noted that the electronic account for conscripts will allow updating registration data without visiting military registration and enlistment offices. The provided information can be used by recruitment center staff.
"There will be a period for the conscript to update this data, provide the latest accurate information. And then the recruitment centers will use them in their daily work," said Ekaterina Chernogorenko.
The platform will also allow submitting an electronic application for obtaining the status of a participant in hostilities.
Ekaterina Chernogorenko clarified that the launch of the conscript's electronic account is planned to take place at the beginning of the second quarter of 2024 - immediately after the relevant law enters into force.
"This is a relatively short period for the launch of such tools, you could say - almost instant," added the deputy minister.
She added that the electronic register of conscripts will not be stored in the cloud storage of NATO member countries, however, it has already received a comprehensive information protection system.
