Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov revealed the testing of new developments designed for the needs of the Ukrainian military as part of the Brave1 cluster. The corresponding trials took place at training grounds.
It is noted that the front is constantly changing, and the military requires new technologies. Some of these technologies are critically important and need to be implemented as quickly as possible to prevent the enemy from advancing. According to Fedorov, the following three technologies are particularly relevant for the Armed Forces of Ukraine at this moment.
Drone Swarm
This technology enables a single operator to control a group of drones that can autonomously carry out missions through teamwork. Developers demonstrated how drones operate as a swarm and interact with robots. The drone swarm can conduct reconnaissance or combat operations.
Guided Munitions
Guided munitions strike targets with high precision, automatically homing in on them and adjusting their flight. The use of such munitions significantly increases the effectiveness of combat sorties by bomber drones.
Robot Dog
The military version of the quadruped robot exhibits high efficiency in carrying out logistical and reconnaissance tasks under various weather conditions and terrains. On a single charge, this robot can cover a distance of nearly 10 km.
Brave1 is already in negotiations with an American company for the Ukrainian Defense Forces to start using the robot dog.
Thanks to robotic units, military casualties are reduced by 30%, as stated in the video.
