Starfield has received mixed reactions from players, but Bethesda's strong suit is the ability to turn them into practically anything with mods. This is exactly what the YouTuber DeityVengy did, who with the help of over 100 mods turned Starfield into a "dream game" about "Star Wars". A kind of compensation for the canceled EA game by Respawn Entertainment about the Mandalorian.
The enthusiast used the full power of mods to turn Starfield into a cool game about Mandalorians. It features a protagonist in Mandalorian armor, who replaced the existing main character, many alien races from "Star Wars", corresponding weapons, characters, items, and world details. A custom "Star Wars" themed interface was added for better immersion. In the video, you can see a battle involving AT-ST, Imperial Stormtroopers, and much more. The movement with a jetpack and shooting during it, present in Starfield, fits very well for reproducing the Mandalorian way of action.
DeityVengy says he added ready-made "Star Wars" mods for Starfield as a base, and then edited what he got. For the interested, he posted his mod compilation on Google Drive.
"This is a huge job that is still ongoing. Every day I find one or two mods that can be added to this, as well as new mods that are released every day. I can't wait to see what the future Creation Kit from Bethesda can offer."
In February, EA announced that it was closing early development of a "Star Wars" shooter to focus on its own brands and support existing games. Little is known about this game, but rumors say it featured a Mandalorian hero.
EA is indeed developing several Star Wars video games, including Star Wars: Jedi 3 and a Star Wars strategy game, but none of them currently involve Mandalorians. Bethesda has announced that Starfield will receive an update for the Creation Kit mod editor, however, it is unknown when this will happen.
