Phil Spencer announced that on November 5, subscribers of PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate will gain access to StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection.
StarCraft: Remastered is a modernized version of the iconic strategy game from Blizzard that was originally released in 1998. The remaster launched in August 2017 and includes the Brood War expansion.
StarCraft 2: Campaign Collection provides players with over 70 missions from the trilogy's three installments: Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm, and Legacy of the Void. The collection also features the Nova Covert Ops expansion.
StarCraft is a legendary real-time strategy series set in a distant future in the Koprulu sector. The storyline centers around the conflict of three distinct races: the Terran humans, the Zerg swarm, and the technologically advanced Protoss. Each faction boasts its own unique units and strategies, delivering gameplay depth and diverse tactics.
