Sid Meier's Civilization VII was announced at the Summer Games Fest 2024 conference. The game is set to be released in 2025, with a gameplay demonstration scheduled for August of this year.
The teaser trailer conveys more mood and perception than tells about the game itself. Nomads become masons, large cities are built, people are at war. Music, trade, art, exploration, and industry. The choir sings. Train! Indeed, we live in an era of enlightenment. Hammers strike, and through coal, dirt, and labor, electricity is born. A big city. A rocket. And the message: "Watch the gameplay presentation this August."
At the moment, developer Firaxis has revealed almost nothing about Civilization 7. The Steam page also contains few details.

It has been eight years since the release of Civilization 6 and 14 years since Civilization 5. Since then, fans have longed and eagerly awaited information about the innovations Firaxis has prepared for the game.
