Developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl have unveiled a new trailer showcasing the game's weapon mechanics and survival elements.
What Was Shown in the Trailer
A key mechanic in the game will be "Dashes" — stash spots containing weapons and gear left behind by other stalkers. GSC Game World demonstrated a wear and repair system for weapons, emphasizing that keeping equipment in good condition will be crucial for survival in the Zone.
Players will be able to enhance their weapons with various modules discovered throughout their journeys. For an additional fee, technicians will not only be able to repair but also upgrade the equipment to match the player's style of play.
The trailer places particular emphasis on realistic ballistics — each weapon has its own shooting characteristics, and its effectiveness is directly influenced by combat distance and the type of armor worn by the opponent.
Remember, "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl" is set to release on November 20 for PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X/S, and will also be available immediately through Game Pass.
