According to new unofficial information, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 is expected to be 48% faster than the RTX 4090. NVIDIA is also allegedly developing a new ultra-high-performance graphics card called the RTX TITAN AI.
The YouTube channel RedGamingTech claims that the NVIDIA RTX 5090 will indeed be 48% faster. Additionally, the TITAN AI GPU may potentially outperform the NVIDIA RTX 4090 by about 63%.
Interestingly, the well-known industry insider kopite7kimi does not deny this information: “There is a big thing” (in the thread below). Instead, he questions whether the TITAN will actually be released. At one point, NVIDIA reportedly had a TITAN graphics card based on the Ada Lovelace architecture that was too power-hungry but never came to market.

The TITAN series was initially aimed at gamers but has since shifted focus towards content creation, thanks to its high performance and substantial memory. Modern generative AI tools work exceptionally well with graphics cards, making the TITAN appealing to professionals.
Regarding the RTX 50xx series, kopite7kimi mentions that the graphics cards may not be released until CES 2025 in early January. According to the insider, NVIDIA might unveil the RTX 50xx during the exhibition. However, the actual graphics cards, RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, are expected to be available a month or two later.
I think we won't see RTX 50 until CES.

Nonetheless, some rumors suggest that NVIDIA may announce the RTX 50xx series before the end of the year, with the actual launch occurring in 2025. This aligns with NVIDIA's usual strategy of separating announcements from product releases while keeping many specifications under embargo.
If the reported performance metrics are accurate, some PC enthusiasts may be particularly interested in the TITAN AI, which is projected to be 14% faster than the RTX 5090, despite the significantly higher price. The cost could indeed be steep: the DSOG website estimates the RTX 5090 could be priced around $2000, while the TITAN AI might reach up to $3000.
