On Wednesday, September 18, reports began to emerge from Lebanon, particularly from Beirut, regarding a second wave of explosions. Today, iPhones and other electronic devices were detonating.
As of 9:00 PM, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported 14 fatalities and 450 injuries during the latest wave of explosions. Later, media outlets reported at least 500 people injured, including several children and medical personnel. The attacks primarily targeted members of Hezbollah once again.

In addition to public streets and areas, electronic devices are exploding in apartments, houses, and stores (about 60 cases), as well as in vehicles (at least 15 cases). Among the casualties were funerals for Hezbollah officials killed in yesterday's explosions.

Reportedly, explosive devices include Apple iPhones and other smartphones, laptops, scooters and mopeds, radios, solar batteries, and even electronic locks and kitchen appliances. Many sources assert that any device with a battery is potentially hazardous.

Explosions have also affected Hezbollah's stationary and mobile communication stations located in buildings and vehicles. The organization has urged its members to entirely discard electronic devices. In crowded locations, Hezbollah representatives instructed everyone present to turn off their electronic gadgets.
It is still unclear whether the series of explosions in Lebanon has ceased. Various sources reported two waves of explosions during the latter half of the day.
