The head of monobank, Oleg Gorokhovskiy, announced the launch of a new feature in the banking app that will be useful for splitting a bill among a large group.
“Imagine: every Friday, you go to billiards with colleagues. One person always pays for all the drinks, someone else covers the table reservation, and another pays for the food. Splitting these bills among everyone who ate/drank/had fun is now very simple,” Gorokhovskiy writes.
To use the "Group Expenses" feature, you need to create a separate group in the monobank app with contacts and then add expenses from the statement (or enter them manually) and distribute them among the contacts.
“No more need to copy the card, send it in chats along with a picture of the receipt. The cherry on top: you can send a reminder from monobank once a day to everyone who hasn’t yet paid you back,” added the head of monobank.
Recall that in April, the largest neobank in Ukraine received a new design (the first in 6 years) — the main screen now displays the card, account balance information, and recent transactions, but in a new layout. Most actions have been simplified by adding a swipe option and a bit of 3D animation for switching between cards, as well as consolidating the statement for all cards.
In August, monobank launched the mono checkout feature, which will reduce purchase processing time from five minutes to one minute by filling in the “boring” data on websites for you. At the same time, payment can be made with any bank's card.
