Now users can provide the neural network with reference images of a person and adjust the generation in such a way that the appearance on the subsequent images looks the same.
Midjourney is testing the Character Reference feature, which will allow generating an image with a "constant" character - in fact, you provide the neural network with a reference image, and it adheres to it in further generations. In fact, such a setting was in high demand, as the model often could output several images with different appearances from the original.
NOTES:
> precision is currently limited
> - cref works in niji 6 & v6 models
> - cw 100 is default (face, hair, & clothes)

Additional parameters are provided for detailed customization - for example, Midjourney can be asked to only preserve eye color, hair color, etc.
At the same time, the function is not intended for copying real people from photos and works best with characters created using Midjourney.
It is noted that Character Reference works with both Midjourney V6 and Niji6 models.
