Elon Musk has set a new record by completing the 150th level of Artificer's Pit in Diablo 4 in 1 minute and 52 seconds.
There are many life lessons to learn from speedrunning video games at maximum difficulty. It teaches you to perceive the matrix, rather than merely existing in it.

Artificer's Pit is a procedurally generated dungeon in Diablo 4, where each run features a unique layout of monsters and level designs. Players have 15 minutes to defeat the required number of enemies and the final boss. The location contains 150 levels of increasing difficulty, complete with corresponding rewards, reminiscent of the “Greater Rifts” system from Diablo 3.
Recently during an interview with Joe Rogan, Musk surprised the host by revealing his 19th position in the global player ranking on Helltides. This confirmed the billionaire's status as a dedicated fan of Diablo 4, tackling even the toughest challenges in the game.
The tech entrepreneur's new achievement surpassed the record of an American player known as Resistance by 7 seconds, who had previously completed Artificer's Pit in 1 minute and 59 seconds.
Following an update during the middle of the season, Musk dropped to 44th position in the ranking (as the new achievement of Elon has not yet been reflected in the helltides). However, he not only adapted to the changes but also set a new record using the Quill Volley Spiritborn build, which allows for dealing extremely high damage due to an unpatched bug. Developers at Blizzard confirmed that they will not fix this issue until the start of the seventh season of the game.
“I think Blizzard should reward me as the salesperson of the month,” Musk commented on his record on the social media platform X.
