Many gamers are no longer surprised by Bethesda game patches that break everything. But the latest "next-gen" patch for Fallout 4 did not bring significant improvements, instead disrupting the work of mods, the game on Steam Deck, and overall causing mainly dissatisfaction.

The situation is worse than ever due to a significant number of new players who are not fans of the series or Bethesda games, and simply joined the game after watching the popular Fallout series. The company acknowledged the failure and announced a patch for the patch. The next update will be released on May 13, but from Bethesda's message, it is difficult to understand what exactly it will include.

"On Monday, May 13, we will update Fallout 4 on all platforms. This update will include new graphics and performance settings, as well as additional fixes and improvements. Thank you for your continued feedback and support!"

In the comments, players expressed hope that they will finally see new content that was not reproduced correctly.

Users also hope to see working content from the Creation Club again, which became inaccessible after the patch.

However, the main issue is that modders have already adapted their mods to the patch, and they will have to do it again.
