The first images of the upcoming flagship devices, Xiaomi 15 Pro and Xiaomi 15 Ultra, have surfaced. The former is expected to launch in October, while the company's main camera phone typically debuts later.

The website Smartprix, in collaboration with insider Kartikey, presents an exclusive first look at the Xiaomi 15 Pro. The visuals showcase the smartphone's rear in three colors—black, white, and silver—with a special Titanium edition also available.

The smartphone's design carries on the style of its predecessor. It features glass on both sides and a metal frame. This time, Xiaomi has modified the dimensions slightly to accommodate a larger battery and display. The camera module has seen significant changes, now housing three lenses and a laser autofocus module, with the flash positioned separately.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro will feature a 6.78″ AMOLED display with four curved edges, a 2K resolution, over 500 PPI, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (or Snapdragon 8 Elite according to new reports), paired with 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB storage option.

The main camera sports a 50 MP 1/1.3-inch Light Fusion 900 sensor with an f/1.4 aperture. There is also a 50 MP ultra-wide lens and a new 50 MP telephoto camera with a Sony IMX858 sensor and a 5x zoom, focused at 30 cm. The selfie camera will feature a 32 MP sensor. The phone will also include Leica's custom camera settings.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro includes an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and IP68 dust and water resistance. The company promises up to 5 years of Android updates. The smartphone will come with Xiaomi AI software package, HyperOS 2.0, and satellite connectivity (exclusive to the Titanium Edition), along with a massive 6000 mAh battery supporting 90W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

The website Playfuldroid references the social network Weibo to unveil the design of another device in the series, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The top-of-the-line model is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2025. Rumors suggest that the overall design language of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra resembles that of the 14 Ultra. The new schematics provide an initial glimpse of its appearance, along with details about its cameras.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will feature slim bezels of equal size on all four sides. While the display appears flat, like the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, there will be micro-curvatures on all sides. On the back of the device, there is a large round camera module with the Leica logo in the top left corner and a periscope telephoto lens on the right. At the bottom of the module are three additional cameras, totaling four lenses.

The smartphone will have a 1″ 50 MP main camera using the Sony LYT-900 sensor, similar to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Additionally, it will include a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera using the Samsung HP9 sensor, akin to the Vivo X100 Ultra. The 15 Ultra is also expected to come with a 50 MP ultra-wide lens and another 50 MP IMX858 camera.

The Xiaomi 15 series is expected to debut in China on October 23, followed by a global release in early 2025. Xiaomi has ambitious plans for 2025, including the release of a buttonless smartphone. While the price for the Xiaomi 15 series has yet to be confirmed, sources anticipate it will align with that of its predecessors.
