The company Razer has announced its latest innovation — the Razer Freyja gaming cushion, which utilizes HD Haptics technology to enhance tactile feedback during gameplay.

Razer Freyja is a cushion designed for gaming chairs that allows players to experience physical vibrations while playing. The device provides realistic tactile sensations that correspond to in-game events, ranging from the rumble of a racing car's engine to the tense silence during a stealth mission.

Razer unveiled Freyja at RazerCon 2024. Razer's CEO Min-Liang Tan expressed the company's commitment to elevating gaming to a new level. According to him, the Razer Freyja is not just an accessory but a revolution in immersive virtual experiences.

At the core of Razer Freyja is the Razer Sensa HD Haptics technology. It delivers precise multidirectional vibrations thanks to the special placement of motors. This allows players to perceive the direction, distance, and intensity of in-game events through various parts of their bodies.

The Razer Freyja can be used not only for gaming. The device easily integrates into any multimedia system, including gaming PCs and setups for watching movies and listening to music. Support for Razer HyperSpeed Wireless and Bluetooth technologies ensures compatibility with a wide range of devices, including PCs and Android.

The cushion connects to a power outlet using an adapter. For wireless connectivity with other devices, it employs Bluetooth technology (supporting Swift Pair and Google Fast Pair) or Razer HyperSpeed Wireless. The device is designed for users between 160 and 200 cm tall. The Razer Freyja is already available for purchase at a price of $300.
