In 2 weeks, the release of the game Dragon's Dogma 2 is expected. While in camps, players will be able to cook food, as in many role-playing games. The corresponding frames were published in advance.
In the case of Dragon's Dogma 2, the meat on the grill looked very realistic, which sparked discussions among fans - whether it is real or the result of high-quality computer graphics. Even PlayStation could not definitively determine and launched a poll on the X social network.
Now Capcom has stated that the sizzling meat in Dragon's Dogma 2 is indeed real. In an interview with the Japanese site 4Gamer, the game's director Hideaki Itsuno stated that these meat preparation scenes were actually filmed, not CGI.
He specified that the team discussed for several months what interesting things could be demonstrated in the camp. Eventually, they decided to show the preparation of meat. But instead of spending money on expensive computer graphics with sizzling meat, they ultimately decided to spend the same amount on real meat. As a result, each type of meat that can be cooked in the game on the grill has a separate preparation video.
The game Dragon's Dogma 2 will be released on March 22 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
