Larian Studios: "That's impossible!". Players: "Hold my potion!".
YouTuber SlimX has revealed a new dimension of gameplay for Baldur's Gate 3. He discovered a method to activate hidden scenes that the developers at Larian Studios thought were inaccessible to players.
These scenes are marked with a special "IMPOSSIBLE" flag in the game's files. However, SlimX discovered that simply changing the flag's value to "true" allows players to access previously unavailable content.
In his 15-minute video, the blogger demonstrated various character interactions. Among those is Shadowheart's response to being removed from the party, which changes based on the player's approval level. Additionally, viewers can see Mintara questioning why she was spared.
Particular attention is drawn to a cut final scene, where the entire team mocks Gale, asking the mage why he is sad after defeating the main antagonist.
With the release of the seventh patch for Baldur's Gate 3, players can look forward to new discoveries, such as a very unfavorable ending for the Dark Urge.
As a reminder, Larian shared statistics on how players completed Baldur's Gate 3.
