Artificial intelligence has significantly enhanced the effectiveness of the Ukrainian defense forces. The AI platform Avengers automatically detects over 12,000 enemy targets each week.
This innovative tool, developed by the Ministry of Defense's Innovation Center, analyzes vast amounts of video data from drones and cameras. This enables operators to quickly and accurately identify a variety of enemy equipment, even in challenging conditions. It also reduces the risk of operator errors due to fatigue. This integration is already successfully operational within the streaming module VEZHA of the DELTA combat system.
“The Avengers platform, created by the Ministry of Defense's Innovation Center, is unique in the world due to the volume of video data on enemy equipment. We continue to develop Avengers and other AI solutions to provide our military with an advantage. In the future, we plan to expand the platform's cloud capabilities and integrate AI solutions into drones,” stated the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization, Yekaterina Chernohorenko.
Ukrainian experts are continuing to enhance the platform. The Innovation Center is training the AI model of the Avengers platform on new data. This allows for improved recognition quality of various enemy equipment, even in difficult conditions, such as tanks hidden in forested areas or infantry fighting vehicles moving along dirt roads.
