Xpeng has unveiled its new electric vehicle, the Xpeng P7+. The manufacturer claims that this is its first car equipped with a next-generation autonomous driving platform.

The Xpeng P7+ is a family liftback designed with the brand's latest Robo Face design language. Its front features an X-shaped style with LED daytime running lights and headlights integrated into the front bumper. At the rear, there's a single rear light unit. The side profile includes hidden door handles and a sloping roofline. The vehicle is available in five colors: silver, white, black, purple, and beige. The Xpeng P7+ measures 5056x1937x1512 mm with a wheelbase of 3000 mm. It rolls on 235/60 R18 or 255/45 R20 tires.

This new model is equipped with the next-generation Eagle Eye Vision AI autonomous driving system. Key enhancements compared to the previous system focus on perception and recognition speed. According to Xpeng, the perception range of the Eagle Eye system has increased by 125%, while the recognition speed has improved by 40%. The automaker has elevated the P7+'s performance in nighttime and challenging weather conditions.

The base version of the Xpeng P7+ is powered by an electric motor with an output of 180 kW (241 hp). There is also a version available with a 230 kW (308 hp) engine. Customers can choose from two LFP battery options: a 60.7 kWh battery offering a range of 620 km (CLTC) and a 76.3 kWh battery providing a range of 710 km (CLTC). Energy consumption is rated at 11 kWh/100 km.

The central console of the Xpeng P7+ features a 15.6-inch main display for the infotainment system, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip. The vehicle comes with a two-spoke steering wheel that has the gear shifter mounted behind it. The center tunnel includes two cup holders and two 50W wireless charging pads. The second-row seats of the Xpeng P7+ offer electric adjustability, ventilation, and massage (except for the middle seat). Rear passengers benefit from a separate 8-inch screen, while the right rear passenger has a folding table.

The international debut of the Xpeng P7+ will take place at the Paris Motor Show on October 14. Sales are expected to begin by the end of this year.
