Three flagship smartphones have been released: the Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro mini. Their main advantages include top-of-the-line Zeiss cameras and the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor.
Vivo X200
The smartphone features a metal and glass body. Its 6.67″ AMOLED display has a resolution of 2800 x 1260 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, with brightness reaching up to 4500 nits, and it has micro-curvatures on all four sides—effectively making the screen flat in practice. The back panel features similar curves. The body is protected from water and dust with an IP68/IP69 rating. The Vivo X200 is equipped with a 5800 mAh battery and supports 90W fast charging—but it lacks wireless charging. The phone has a thickness of 7.99 mm.
The Vivo X200 boasts an upgraded 50 MP f/1.57 main camera with a Sony IMX921 sensor and optical stabilization, a 50 MP f/2.0 ultra-wide-angle camera ISOCELL JN1, and a 50 MP f/2.57 IMX882 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. The phone supports 4K video recording at 120 frames per second in 10-bit color.
The phone is available in Carbon Black, Moonlight White, Sapphire Blue, and Titanium Gray colors and comes with either 12 or 16 GB of RAM. The 12 GB variant features either 256 GB or 512 GB of storage and is priced at ~$600 and ~$750, respectively. The 16 GB variant includes 512 GB or 1 TB of storage and retails for ~$700 and ~$775.
Vivo X200 Pro
The higher-end model bears a strong resemblance to the non-Pro version but offers superior specifications. The Vivo X200 Pro comes in the same colors and has similar distinct curves all around. The display appears to share the same specifications. There are also two RAM configurations, 12 GB and 16 GB, which are specified as LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM. The dimensions of the Vivo X200 Pro are 160.36 x 75.95 x 8.2 mm, and it weighs 223 g.
The 50 MP f/1.57 main camera features a Sony LYT-818 sensor with optical stabilization and Optical Precision Calibration technology. There is also a 50 MP f/2.0 camera with a 119-degree field of view. The third camera is a 200 MP periscope tele-macro lens (with an aperture of f/2.67, 3.7x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom, and OIS). The front camera offers 32 MP.
The battery of the Vivo X200 Pro is rated at 6000 mAh, supporting 30W wireless charging and 90W wired charging. The Vivo X200 Pro comes in four variants. The model with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage costs ~$750, while the 16 GB / 512 GB version is priced at ~$850, and the 16 GB / 1 TB variant retails for ~$920. The latter also has a version with satellite connectivity support in China priced at ~$960.
Vivo X200 Pro mini
This smartphone aims to be a compact version of the Vivo X200 Pro. It shares many features with its larger counterpart but has a distinct appearance. The round camera module is retained, but the colors are brighter and more uniform: Titanium Green, Light Pink, Plain White, and Simple Black. However, the small device maintains the same micro-curvatures and, notably, the same impressive cameras as the Pro version.
The dimensions of the Vivo X200 Pro mini are 150.83 x 71.76 x 8.15 mm, and its weight is 187 g. Corresponding to its smaller size, the screen has a diagonal of 6.31″. It is also an LTPO AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2640 x 1216. The smartphone comes with a 5700 mAh battery featuring the same charging specifications and setups as the X200 Pro. The phones are priced at ~$660, ~$750, and ~$820, depending on the memory configuration.
Currently, there is no information regarding the international release of the Vivo X200, but the worldwide launch of the previous generation X100 gives hope for that.
