Recent collisions with other vehicles and crash tests demonstrate the invincibility of the Tesla Cybertruck (well, not always, but at least no people were harmed). But when the pickup truck flips upside down, the consequences are more noticeable - although they could have been worse.
The Cybertruck accident occurred in Vicksburg, Mississippi, USA. The Vicksburg Daily News Facebook page shows videos where the electric pickup truck is already in a turtle-like position on a four-lane road. Police or other sources do not say how it got there, but it can be assumed that it was due to speed. Probably, the Cybertruck entered a curve too fast, then went onto the opposite lane, hit a steep embankment on the roadside, and flipped onto its roof.
It is reported that there were four people inside the Cybertruck during the accident, three of them were unharmed, but the fourth passenger was taken to the hospital with a hand injury.
From the footage from the scene, it can be seen that the strong truck body protected the passengers from being crushed by the immense weight of the bottom-mounted battery above them. It is also possible to see that one of the front Tesla wheels was torn off during the accident and is lying on the road. Despite one of the injured, it can be said that the robust construction of the pickup truck still saved them.
