The case reveals the same stripe patterns that were previously sketched by insider billbil-kun — he hand-drew the console based on the retail box, as he couldn't publish a photo due to copyright concerns.
It became clear a few months ago that the PS5 Pro is definitely in the works, when developers confirmed they were preparing their games for the new console. Given earlier rumors, its announcement is anticipated by the end of September.
The PS5 Pro is expected to be priced between $600 to $700. Additionally, the console is rumored to feature a GPU based on AMD's RDNA3 architecture, promising a 60% performance boost and 4K scaling at over 30 frames per second.
