OnePlus continues to reveal information about its upcoming flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13, in a measured manner. Last week, the company shared details about the cameras and a substantial amount of RAM, while over the weekend, it provided updates regarding the battery, charging speed, and more.
So, the OnePlus 13 will feature a battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh. It will support fast wired (100W) and wireless (50W) charging. The battery capacity has increased by 600 mAh compared to its predecessor, although it is still slightly less than the 6100 mAh battery found in the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Pro, which is one of its main competitors. According to OnePlus, a full charge will deliver up to 11 hours of video playback and 7.1 hours of navigation.
The company confirmed that the OnePlus 13 will support Wi-Fi 7. It is also promoting advancements in NFC technology and antennas on the upcoming smartphone.
Additionally, the company announced the return of the fan-favorite Alert Switch on the OnePlus 13. Its functionality remains unchanged, featuring three modes: silent, vibrate, and ring.
The device will also come equipped with four AI-powered noise-canceling microphones to ensure clear audio during phone calls.
The OnePlus 13 presentation is expected on October 31st.
