The Polish developer Critical Hit Games has announced Nobody Wants to Die - a new detective noir adventure game set in New York in the year 2329.
Critical Hit Games has prepared a cinematic teaser trailer and several screenshots so that potential players can evaluate the project. The game is being developed using Unreal Engine 5 and visually looks quite attractive.
In Nobody Wants to Die, players will take on the role of homicide detective James Carr as he risks his life pursuing a serial killer. Everything is complicated by the fact that "technologies have advanced to offer people eternal life, allowing them to store consciousness in memory banks or transfer it from one body to another. That is, if you can afford a subscription."
In the dangerous search, the player will be assisted by the young police informant Sarah Kay, who will uncover many dark secrets about the most influential people in New York.
The game Nobody Wants to Die is set to be released in 2024 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
