Developers from GSC Game World have unveiled a new trailer titled "World and Locations" for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, showcasing the diverse areas of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
“A seamless open world covering over 60 km². It holds many mysteries, treasures, and is rich in history. Abandoned houses, reactors, laboratories, undergrounds, and art objects. The zone differs throughout, and that’s its charm. Wherever you go, its unique atmosphere will be felt. Explore carefully!” — GSC Game World wrote beneath the video.
The developers promise stunning graphics thanks to the use of Unreal Engine 5. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will feature 20 regions, each with its own unique atmosphere, distinct inhabitants, architecture, and special challenges for players.
The game will include an advanced artificial intelligence system and a life simulation called A-life 2.0. Additionally, the developers plan to add mod support and a multiplayer mode after the game's release.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is set to launch on November 20, 2024, for PC (Steam, GOG, EGS, Microsoft Store) and Xbox Series X/S. The game will also be available on Game Pass.
