The website VideoCardz has shared a leak of the updated portable console Asus ROG Ally X, claiming that these are the official specifications. The new console will have the same AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor with 8 Zen4 cores and 12 RDNA3 computational units. The console will retain the same 7" Full-HD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a brightness of 500 nits.
Significant changes have been made to the internal component layout, including a larger battery. In the new version, a longer battery life will be provided by an 80Wh battery.
ROG Ally X will also receive 24GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory. The 2023 model has 16GB of LPDDR5-6400 memory, meaning not only the capacity, but also the speed has been increased, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on gaming.
