iPhone owners reluctant to date Android users - Uswitch research

19% of iPhone owners categorically refuse to date Android users — and this figure rises to 32% among respondents aged 18-34, according to a study by Uswitch.

Some Android users reciprocate this "love" towards Apple device owners, with at least 10% saying they would avoid a relationship with someone using an iPhone.

Overall, 16% of all surveyed smartphone owners believe in stereotypes about iPhone and Android users, particularly that Apple device users are more trend-oriented and obsessed with social media.

56% of Android users stated they would never switch to an iPhone, while 52% of Apple device owners claimed they would not want to use an operating system developed by Google.

The primary reason for the refusal to switch is the reluctance to learn a new operating system. Additionally, 56% of Android users consider the iPhone too expensive, while 30% of Apple device owners worry that their headphones or smartwatches would not be compatible with Android.
