The cosplayer expressed her desire to remain in the "Alien" movie character forever.

On September 5, a promotional event for the movie "Alien: Romulus" took place in Tokyo, which hits Japanese theaters today. The main star of the event was singer and TV presenter Ken Naoko, who appeared before the audience in the form of a xenomorph — the final stage of the Alien.

Ken Naoko spent three hours creating her xenomorph look. The singer admitted that she had long dreamed of this transformation:

“I really love ‘Alien’. I adore this character so much that I would like to stay in it forever. When I look in the mirror, I hardly recognize myself.”

Photos from the presentation of "Alien: Romulus" in Japan sparked lively reactions among Reddit users. The online community actively discussed the unusual xenomorph costume worn by Ken Naoko. Comments ranged from surprise to delight and humor. Here are some of them:

  • “This is so scary that my monkey brain is about to explode”
  • “This cosplay is a bit too anatomically accurate for my taste”
  • “Why is this scarier than a regular xenomorph?!”
  • “I wish I could look like this. I'm tired of beauty standards. Why can't I be her?”

“Alien: Romulus” is a sequel to the iconic “Alien” franchise that began in 1979. The new film tells the story of young people who encounter dangerous alien creatures. The film is directed by Fede Álvarez, known for the horror film “Don’t Breathe”, while the producer is Ridley Scott, the creator of the “Alien” universe.
