Following complaints about Intel processors, game developers have taken notice. A message in Path of Titans identifies the Intel chip as a potential cause of crashes.

Issues with Intel Core 13th and 14th generation processors are being observed on laptops and other PCs. Specifically, these problems affect devices equipped with NVIDIA graphics cards, leading to crashes and various other issues during gameplay. Game developers are aware of these issues, and some are attempting to warn gamers through notifications during crashes.

User X on Twitter, 9550pro, posted a screenshot of a pop-up warning that explains how the game Path of Titans, developed by Alder Games, may "crash" on a user's platform.

The message indicates that an Intel Core i7-13700K processor has been detected in the system, which conflicts with modern games using Unreal Engine 5 and could cause crashes. Users are encouraged to learn more about the issue. Path of Titans operates on Unreal Engine version 5.3 and has fairly high requirements for PC specifications, making it likely to experience difficulties with the Core 13th and 14th generation processors.

The problem with Intel's Raptor Lake processors has been known since the beginning of the year and remains unresolved. Microcode patches from Intel and motherboard manufacturers have improved the situation by adjusting the processor's operational and power settings, but they do not provide a fundamental fix. Recently, Intel acknowledged that the processors are irreparably damaged but declined to withdraw them from the market.
