A short video has appeared on TikTok showcasing the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro smartphones. The original video was swiftly removed, but screenshots have been preserved.
It is evident that the Xiaomi 14T series inherits the design language of its predecessors, yet the camera block appears simpler. The three lenses and flash are arranged on a square island with rounded corners—everything looks very minimalistic.
Though it’s hard to tell from the photos, it seems that the 14T Pro features a flat design on the back and side edges. The finish resembles matte glass with a special glossy coating. However, the glass on the non-Pro variant seems to be curved. It's also difficult to estimate the dimensions, but it is known that both phones have the same display.
In August, the specifications for the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro were revealed. The 14T will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor, while the Pro will feature the Dimensity 9300+. The smartphones are expected to launch in late September, while the first phones utilizing the Dimensity 9400 will arrive in October.
The phones will be available in three colors: Titanium Black, Titanium Grey, and Titanium Blue. While it is unlikely that true titanium will be used in mid-range smartphones, this is not definitively known.
Both smartphones feature a 6.67″ AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 1220×2712, and a peak brightness of 4000 nits. The 14T will include a main camera with a 1/1.56″ sensor from Sony IMX906, a 50 MP telephoto lens with a 2.6x optical zoom and 4x “optical equivalent” digital zoom, as well as a 12 MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view. The Pro variant will have a larger main camera with a 1/1.31″ Light Fusion 900 sensor with a 2x optical equivalent, alongside the same other cameras. Both phones will come with a 32 MP front camera and a 5000 mAh battery. They will also support Wi-Fi 7 and ship with Android 14 out of the box.
The Xiaomi 14T measures 160.5 x 75.1 x 7.8 mm and weighs 195 g, while the 14T Pro measures 160.4 x 75.1 x 8.39 mm and weighs 209 g. The Xiaomi 14T with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is expected to be priced at €649, while the 14T Pro with 12 GB / 512 GB will be priced at €899.
