Elon Musk could become an advisor to the president if Donald Trump returns to the White House. Both businessmen discussed such a possibility, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.
The publication writes that Musk and Trump had dinner together and discussed issues such as immigration, technology, and the US space forces. Although Musk's role and the details are unclear, sources report discussions on how Musk can contribute to border security and economic policy. However, no final decision has been made yet and the appointment may not go through.
Despite some disagreements with Trump, Musk informed him about his current influence campaign aimed at persuading influential US business leaders not to support Joe Biden. He is also working with billionaire investor Nelson Peltz on investments in the "voter fraud prevention" project to ensure "an honest vote count."
In recent months, Musk has made many political statements and openly expressed his views on the Biden administration. In March, the CEO of Tesla stated in X that he voted "100% for Democrats" a few years ago.
"Now, I think we need a red wave, otherwise America will fry," Musk wrote. In the same month, he said he does not plan to donate to Trump or Biden. But before that, his biographer Walter Isaacson wrote in the book "Elon Musk" that the billionaire said, "Trump could be one of the best fools in the world."
