During a visit to the PNY booth at the Computex 2024 exhibition, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang noticed a video card of unusual appearance. He was attracted to the relatively thin and environmentally friendly model RTX 4070 SUPER with a turbine. Usually, such video cards are not so colorful - rather black or gray, because they are not intended for public demonstration.
The PNY video card is bright green, just like the chassis for it at the booth. This card is presented as compatible with Small Form Factor (SFF). This is a new product as part of the NVIDIA SFF-Ready Enthusiast initiative, although it is not listed in the published list.
Usually, cards with this cooling system are used for workstations or artificial intelligence, so this video card, presented as a gaming one, is special. Moreover, its color matches the traditional green color of NVIDIA, so Jensen Huang simply could not pass by - he left his autograph on the card and the chassis.
According to the TechPowerUP website, which took photos, this model will be released in a "small" edition of 7000 units - of course, without Huang's signature. Currently, the video card is just a prototype.
