Analysis of the fingerprints from one of the controversial "alien mummies" discovered in Peru revealed unusual diagonal grooves, which may indicate a non-human origin of these mysterious remains.
The global community has been actively discussing these unusual samples from Peru since September of last year, when seasoned journalist and UFO researcher Jaime Maussan first presented two potential "alien" bodies to the Mexican congress.
Recently, former Colorado state prosecutor and now attorney Joshua McDowell, along with three independent forensic experts from the USA, examined one of the more than fifteen "alien" samples.
“These were not traditional human fingerprints,” McDowell reported in a conversation with journalists.
According to him, the fingers of the mummy referred to as "Maria" did not exhibit the typical human loops or whorls. Instead, experts noted unusual straight lines on the epidermal ridgesEpidermal ridges are unique patterns on the surface of the skin of fingers, palms, and soles that create fingerprints.
McDowell stated that it is premature to draw definitive conclusions, as the unusual prints may result from a specific skin preservation process. He added that his team continues to actively investigate these samples.
“Maria” is one of several mummies found in the Nazca province of southwestern Peru in 2019. These samples garnered attention due to their elongated skulls and three-fingered hands, reminiscent of the descriptions of "grays" in ufology.
However, not everyone shares the researchers' enthusiasm. The Peruvian Ministry of Culture labeled these mummies as forgeries. Flavio Estrada, a forensic archaeologist at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Lima, claimed that some of the bodies are “dolls assembled from the bones of animals from this planet using modern synthetic glues.”
Historian Christopher Heaney reminded that there is an ancient tradition of skull deformation in infants prevalent in certain regions of Latin America, particularly in Peru. This may explain the unusual head shapes of the mummies.
