At the LGBTQ parade in Los Angeles, a Tesla Cybertruck painted in rainbow colors took part. The pride-themed truck caught the attention of the crowd gathered at the festival, who were filming and taking photos of the vehicle.
The incident sparked mockery on r/TeslaMotors subreddits. Commentators joked that this was one of the "least repulsive" Cybertrucks. Many on Reddit and Twitter said that Elon Musk would not approve of such a color for the car, directly accusing him of being disrespectful to LGBTQ+, "especially T". The whole idea of repainting the car is seen as a sarcastic hint at the billionaire's views.
One of Musk's daughters is transgender although she wants nothing to do with him. Biographer Walter Isaacson suggests that Musk's transphobia may be provoked by her transition.

On the other hand, it is known that even before Musk became a billionaire, his companies were considered a great place for LGBTQ+ individuals to work. In fact, Tesla actually sponsored prides and even made its own rainbow-colored cars until 2022.
Similar to racists who claim to have colored friends, Musk recently wrote on X that he encourages his "gay friends" to have children "for the continuation of civilization." It is known that he always emphasizes on birth rates and population growth. In any case, Elon Musk has not yet reacted to the incident.
