Xiaomi has unveiled the latest version of its fitness tracker, the Smart Band 9 Pro. This model features a larger square display compared to other bands outside of the Pro lineup.
Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro
The display of the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro is based on AMOLED technology, measuring 1.74 inches diagonally, with a resolution of 336×480 pixels and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. The overall dimensions of the device are 43.27×32.49×10.8 mm, and the aluminum alloy case weighs 24.5 g.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro monitors heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress levels, and analyzes sleep patterns. It offers over 150 sports modes, including enhanced tracking for running and swimming. The device is water-resistant up to 5 ATM and features a 350 mAh battery that lasts up to 21 days. It has built-in NFC, supports Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. The device is compatible with smartphones running Android 8 and above, as well as iPhones with iOS 12 and newer.
The starting price for the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro is $56, while magnetic straps are priced at $23 and leather straps at $13.
Xiaomi Watch S4
Additionally, the company introduced the Xiaomi Watch S4 smartwatches. These are equipped with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466×466 pixels, peak brightness of 2200 nits, and a removable bezel. The watches also feature a water resistance of 5 ATM and more than 150 sports modes.
The watches are available in two versions, one of which supports eSIM. Their dimensions are 47.3×47.3×12 mm, and the weight is 44.5 g. They support Bluetooth 5.3, satellite positioning systems, and have the same operating system compatibility as the Smart Band 9 Pro.
In addition to monitoring heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and stress, the watches include built-in training programs for running and AI route planning. The dual walkie-talkie mode and eSIM support allow users to listen to music and make calls without needing a phone. Users can reply to messages, send emojis, and control Xiaomi smart home devices directly from the watch. In China, they can even be used as an NFC car key.
The price of the Xiaomi Watch S4 starts at $140. Currently, these new products are available only in China, and the timeline for their release in international markets has not yet been announced.
