Elon Musk fully utilized the capabilities of his Twitter profile (which he acquired for a staggering $40 billion) on the day of the U.S. elections — along with calls to vote for Trump, there was room for conspiracy theories, memes, and several intriguing photos.
Musk is one of the most vocal and wealthy supporters of former current President Trump, having dedicated nearly $120 million to his current campaign and actively endorsing Donald at rallies. A week before the elections, as well as on the eve and the day itself, he also posted numerous messages on Twіtter/X about his candidate.
On Tuesday, he stated that “men are voting in record numbers” and predicted “huge changes” in favor of Trump, then began retweeting posts from other Trump supporters, adding emoji of the American flag.
In his next tweet, he showed that he had cast his vote by posting a photo of himself in a leather jacket with a voting sticker:
“Just voted in Cameron County, Texas, where Starbase is located!”— he noted, referring to the facility of his rocket company SpaceX.
After voting, Musk flew to Florida to watch the election results at Trump's private club Mar-a-Lago.
“I will be there with President Trump, JD, and a bunch of other cool people," Musk said during a live stream on Spaces. “They have a great sense of humor.”
He later shared a photo:
Furthermore, Musk added that he would announce the results on X alongside Trump, “if the votes are clear enough to confirm a victory.”
In an interesting note, Elon indicated that his Super PACPolitical Action Committee — America PAC — will continue its operations even after the presidential elections, focusing further on midterm elections, district attorney elections, and judicial bodies.
Then dark forecasts about the opponents' plans began: Musk speculated that the Democrats would steal the election from Trump and blamed the voting machines for their unreliability. He also took aim at the search engine Google, suspecting it of skewing results in favor of Kamala Harris. This last allegation is noteworthy, as many media outlets observed that on Tuesday, Google's response to a query regarding where to vote for Harris displayed a map of polling places, while a similar query about Trump led to news articles (Google later justified this by stating that the issue arose because Harris's name is similar to a Texas county name).

In total, Musk dedicated one tweet to activity on his platform, noting that Twitter/X broke its own usage record:
Musk's latest tweets primarily reflected the euphoria of his candidate's victory — he wrote about a “fantastic future for the builder country”.
And of course, as a famed jokester, Elon couldn’t resist posting memes: in one, he depicted himself holding a sink in the Oval Office (the original photo was from Musk's first visit to Twitter headquarters, where he made a nod to finalizing the acquisition deal).
Now, congratulations to the newly elected U.S. president have already been sent by leaders of many countries, including Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump himself has already given a victory speech, wherein, interestingly, he remembered his most fervent supporter:
“We have a new star born: Elon. He’s an amazing guy. We sat together this evening. You know, he spent two weeks in Philadelphia, in different parts of Pennsylvania, campaigning. Only Elon could do that. That’s why I love you, Elon”.
Earlier, there were rumors that Musk would likely head a government efficiency commission under the Trump administration — whether they will materialize, we will find out quite soon.
