The Snapdragon X Elite processor will not be the only one in the new Qualcomm lineup for computers. One of such chips could be the Snapdragon X Plus, a laptop that recently appeared on Geekbench 6. According to Windows Latest, it will be featured in the Microsoft Surface Pro 10 laptop, which will also have a variant with Snapdragon X Elite. It is also possible that the Surface Pro 10 will use X Plus, while the Surface Laptop 6 will get X Elite.
As reported by Windows Central earlier, Microsoft is working on two products with Snapdragon X: Surface Pro 10 with an OLED display and Surface Laptop 6. Thanks to the new Geekbench results, some characteristics of Snapdragon X Plus have become known.
Snapdragon X Plus has 10 cores (6 productive and 4 energy-efficient) compared to the 12 cores of X Elite, making it a less powerful processor for mid-range devices. It was spotted in a device with 16GB of RAM, identified as OEMMN, running Windows 11 24H2.
