The name of the Pocket 386 portable computer gives an idea of its specifications. The retro laptop is equipped with an Intel 386 SX processor running at 40 MHz, 8 MB of RAM, a replaceable VGA card, and a Yamaha sound adapter. It has a 7" IPS screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio, which can be switched to a 4:3 mode through the on-screen menu for the most authentic experience. It comes with Windows 3.11 installed, but Windows 95 is offered as an option.

There is no trackpad or trackpoint, so cursor control is done with arrow keys, as well as the question mark and Shift keys on both sides of the up arrow for left and right mouse click emulation. The laptop has several ports: PS/2/VGA for connecting vintage mice or CRT monitors, an LPT port, a serial adapter, and TTL-RS232.

The Pocket 386 comes with Windows 3.11, but buyers of this retro laptop can request a Windows 95 GHO file for system updates. The price of the Pocket 386 is $300, but there is currently a big discount. The laptop is available in black or transparent casing and comes with a 12V charger. Removable covers make it easy to access the battery, sound card, and RAM.

The laptop measures only 211 x 122 x 31 mm, making it easy to fit in a bag or even a large pocket. The device is sold on AliExpress with over 40 reviews and a rating of 4.9 stars. Several YouTube channels have tested the Pocket 386 and even played games on it. The device is completely new, except for the processor - a new kind of retro.
