Nintendo has launched its own version of Spotify.
The company has introduced the mobile Nintendo Music application for streaming original soundtracks. Users will have access to a music library featuring tracks from game series such as Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid, Splatoon, and Animal Crossing. The service can be accessed both online and offline.
The app features curated collections of songs from individual games and themed playlists dedicated to specific characters. Nintendo has created special playlists for different occasions: for workouts, relaxation, and sleep. Users can also create their own playlists from their favorite tracks.
The developers have added a unique feature allowing users to hide music from certain games. This will help prevent spoilers for those who haven’t completed the game and want to experience the soundtrack for the first time while playing. The app also includes the option to extend the duration of tracks.
Nintendo Music is now available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
