Reference to Apple Pencil Pro was found in the code of the Apple website in Japan. This is a potential hint at another new product that may be announced at an event starting today, dedicated to iPad tablets.
The code was discovered in the alternative text describing a GIF animation for an Apple event. It mentions Pencil Pro several times. The alternative text describes the image as follows:
"Green, yellow, orange, and blue paper folded to form the Apple logo. Inside the logo, the hand of the creator holding the Apple Pencil Pro is visible and ready to draw. Orange and pink splashes erupt from the tip of the Apple Pencil Pro, pressed against the bottom of the logo, creating a bright wave pattern upwards. As the creator rotates the Apple Pencil Pro between the thumb and forefinger, pink, orange, and white drops swirl behind it, and the paper gently flutters with movement."
Meanwhile, the alternative text on the Apple website in the USA (and in other regions) describes the image with a mention of Apple Pencil, not Apple Pencil Pro. Perhaps it was just a mistake, and the person entering the alternative text meant Apple Pencil.
It is expected that Apple will showcase new iPad models during the Let Loose event, which will take place on May 7 and start at 5 pm Kiev time. Rumors suggest that Apple may introduce an updated Apple Pencil with interchangeable magnetic tips and support for the compression gesture.
