Acer has held a presentation and introduced several new Chromebook devices that can serve as an alternative to more traditional systems in the business sector. For instance, Chromebook transformers are designed for use in healthcare institutions.
Acer Chromebook laptops allow healthcare workers to not be tied to stationary workstations. At the same time, they provide access to necessary information even in offline mode - this capability is provided by programs that can operate without Wi-Fi network connection. The devices are equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and 4G LTE modules. Additionally, they offer four usage modes and MIL-STD-810H standard protection.
The Acer Chromebook Spin 512 LTE model features a 12-inch HD+ display (1366×912) with an IPS matrix. It supports the use of a USI 1.0 stylus, which needs to be purchased separately. The system also includes a quad-core Intel N100 processor, 4 or 8 GB of RAM, and a storage capacity of 64 or 128 GB. The 50Wh battery provides up to 12 hours of autonomous operation. The Acer Chromebook Spin 714 laptop is aimed at users who require more powerful solutions. In this case, a 14-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) display with an IPS matrix and Intel Core Ultra 7 165U or 155U processors are available. The USI 1.0 stylus is included in the package. Configurations offer 8 or 16 GB of RAM and PCIe SSD with a capacity of 256 or 512 GB. The battery has a capacity of 53Wh, providing up to 10 hours of autonomy. This model also features a Thunderbolt 4 port. The dimensions are 313x224,5x18 mm. The price of Acer Chromebook Spin 714 starts from €829 + VAT.
Additionally, Acer offers the Acer Chromebox Mini CXM1 - an affordable solution for the needs of small and medium businesses, simplifying the use of digital panels and interactive kiosks. This compact computer can process data for three 4K video outputs simultaneously. It has 2 HDMI 1.4b ports and 1 USB Type C port, allowing for various display configurations. The device is fanless and operates silently. The Acer Chromebox Mini CXM1 contains an Intel Celeron N series processor, up to 16 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and an eMMC storage capacity of up to 128 GB. The device is also equipped with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 modules, and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
To adapt to different configurations, the Acer Chromebox Mini CXM1 comes with additional accessories, including a USB keyboard and mouse, as well as a VESA mounting kit. The device has dimensions of 161.26x119.85x33.9 mm and is MIL-STD 810H certified.
