The highly anticipated Samsung Fan Edition smartphone has received FCC certification in the US. This provides an initial glimpse at the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE.
The Federal Communications Commission is an unusual and not the best source for images, often making it difficult to discern details about the smartphone. In the available live photo of the S24 FE, the phone is not clearly visible up close.
The device, in black, is attached to some testing equipment. Its display is off, and the photograph was taken from a bit of a distance. However, one can notice some similarities between the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE and the flagship S24 models.
Press images of the Galaxy S24 FE surfaced online earlier this month, revealing details about its design. The smartphone features a flat aluminum frame with glass on both the front and back panels. It resembles the Galaxy S24/S24+, but will not have the slim bezels characteristic of the S24 series. Color options will include blue, graphite, mint, silver, and yellow.
Most of the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE also mirror those of the S24. It is powered by the Exynos 2400 processor, even in the US, where Samsung typically uses Snapdragon chips. This choice may be linked to cost considerations.
