Artificial intelligence everywhere and at once - now, in future computers, mice with a ChatGPT button will be added alongside the Copilot key.
Logitech has announced its own way to quickly interact with AI - Logi AI Prompt Builder, which allows you to summon ChatGPT with a single press of a special button on the keyboard or mouse. You will then be offered predefined prompts: for example, rephrasing, summarizing, or shortening text. You can also customize them based on which ChatGPT options you use most frequently (ChatGPT Plus subscribers, for example, can set a basic request for creating an image).
The company also plans to release at least one model of a mouse with a pre-installed separate AI button. It is reported that the device will only be available in the United States and the United Kingdom - priced at $49.99 and £54.99 respectively.
At the same time, Logi AI Prompt Builder does not necessarily require the use of a specialized AI mouse - other Logitech devices will work as well (although, for example, the Logitech M557, which journalist Emily David of The Verge wanted to use during testing, was found to be outdated for the program here). Ultimately, this seems like Logitech's way to attract more customers to purchase their devices.
Currently, Logi AI Prompt Builder only works with ChatGPT and only understands English, although the company is working on integrating the program with other chatbots.
